-> Mrs. Annie Mae Squires Brown, 89, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at Memorial Health University Medical Center as a result of a house fire. She was a native of Walterboro, South Carolina and lived in Bradenton, Florida many years until she moved to Savannah in 1998 to be with her sister, Gladys Tyler who died in May of this year. She attended faithfully St. Philip A.M.E. Church here in Savannah with her sister. Survivors: son, James Brown; one daughter, Dorothy Miles of Leroy, NY; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a niece, Mildred Jones of Brooklyn, NY; a nephew she raised as her son, Jonathan Booker of Bradenton, FL; cousins and other relatives. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, in the chapel. Burial: Redbanks A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Walterboro, SC.
