She was born January 12, 1916 in Tillman, S.C. She was an artist, specializing in landscapes and flowers. Especially known for her Camellias. She was a member of Hardeeville United Methodist Church. Her father, William Smith and mother, Mamie Youmans Smith, along with two brothers, Stacy Smith and Wilbur Smith preceded her in death. Survivors: two sons, Johnny P., Jr. and Hazel Raymond of Hardeeville, S.C. and Eugene T. and Faith Raymond of Swansea, S.C.; sister, Eloise Into of Hardeeville, S.C.; four grandsons, Jack and Kerry Raymond of Hardeeville, S.C., Thad Raymond of Sandy Run, S.C. and Leland Raymond of Swansea, S.C.; two great -granddaughters, Brooke and Angela Raymond of Hardeeville, S.C.
