Jackson, Annie MaeAnnie M. Jackson, 101, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010 in the comfort of her home. She was born in Louise, FL. and had lived there all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Freedom United Methodist Church where she served as: Mother of the church Trustee, Staff Pastor Relations Comm. Hospitality Comm. Children's Ministry, and usher. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star, Heroines of Jericho, and a founding member of Freedom Community Prayer Band. Survivors include; Three sons Johnny Cudjo,(Irene) Williston, FL. Freddie Jackson, & James Jackson both of Gainesville, FL. Two sisters Rutha M. McNeil, & Maude Riles both of Gainesville, FL. One brother Bobby Solomon Johnson, Tampa, FL. ten grandchildren, and twenty-one Great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Jackson will be held at 11:00 AM Sat. Mar 6, 2010 at Philadelphia Bapt. Church, Waldo, FL. Rev. James Ramsey, Host Pastor, & Rev. Mary Jackson Officiating Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation Friday 2:00-3:30,PM Chestnut Chapel and from 5:00-7:00 at Freedom United Meth. Church. On Sat, viewing at Philadelphia Bapt. Church one hour before the service. The cortege will form at the home of Mrs. Jackson 8922 E. CR 225 at 10:15 AM."A Chestnut Service"
