-> Annie Mae Brown, 79, died Monday, August 4, 2003, at her residence under Hospice Care. She was born in Bryan County, and attend Bryan County Academy Schools, and Bulloch County Schools. She lived her adult life in Savannah. and was retired from Candler General Hospital, where she worked in the Radiology Department for over 20 years. She was a member of Second St. John Missionary Baptist Church, and the Deaconess Board, church choir, Sunday School program, She was a member of the Eastern Star Faith Hope Charity-Statesboro Lodge, and International-Savannah Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Roy Brown, Sr.; her parents, General Stewart and Sarah Jane Stewart. Survivors: daughters, JoAnn Jones of Savannah, Barbara Herman-McCluney (Joseph) of Pembroke, Annie Lizzie Thomas (George) of Savannah, Margie Dixon (Preston) of Atlanta; sons, Clifford Bostic (Ella) of Orlando, FL, Charles E. Brown (Marie) of Gulf Port, MS, Deacon Roy Brown, Jr. (Debra) of Savannah, Aaron Brown (Angela) of Savannah, Albert (Zim) D. Brown (Carolyn) of Atlanta, Rev. Robert A. Brown (Estelle Denise) of Savannah; sister, Ronella Smith of Pembroke; brother, Clarence Stewart of Detroit, MI; 41 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
