Nursing AssistantLAKELAND -- Ms. Annie Grace Lucas of Lakeland died of complications of kidney failure June 29, 2006, at home. She was 61.Born in Winter Haven on Nov. 4, 1944, she came to Lakeland from Auburndale 35 years ago. She was a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of St. James AME Church in Auburndale.Ms. Lucas is survived by her sons, Lawrence Ray and David Ray, both of Lakeland; daughters, Cathy Lucas, Georgianna Thompson, Lakeland; companion, James Smith, Lakeland; brothers, Lloyd Wilson, Auburndale, Gary Wilson, Dade City; sister, Lillie Parker, Auburndale; stepsisters, Pamela Wilson, Connie Wilson, both of Auburndale, Velma Jones, Lakeland; two grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at St. James AME Church in Auburndale.
