MCDIARMID, Annie Kathleen (Kai) - A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Blenheim, A. Kathleen (Kai) McDiarmid passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the age of 91 years. Born in Howard Township daughter of the late John B. and Elizabeth (Galbraith) Somerville. Beloved wife of the late Archibald G. McDiarmid (1997). Dear mother of Janet McDiarmid of Blenheim and Debra McDiarmid of Calgary. Grandmother of Jason and Richard Harris both of Blenheim. Great Grandmother of Alexander Hutchinson-Harris, Pagan Harris, and Aidan Harris. Sister of Marion Carruthers of Strathroy and the late Jean Parsons, Ruth Sherman, and Donald Somerville. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Cook of Blenheim United Church officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice appreciated.
