NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Annie Ann Laurie Johnson, 95, of North Augusta, SC, wife of the late Mr. Albert Johnson, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 8th, 2012. She was preceded in death by two siblings, R. W. Donaldson and Luck Hendrix. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Dora Bell Ward Donaldson. She was born in Emmanuel County, GA, an area resident of North Augusta since 1940 and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Johnson was a dedicated member of Woodridge Baptist Church and a volunteer with Augusta Child Evangelism Fellowship with forty-five years of service. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Surviving are her sisters, Era Donaldson King, North Augusta, SC and Mollie Esther Barnett, Monroe, GA; three nephews: Ricky Barnett, Hoschton, ,GA, Bryon L. King, Cottageville, SC and Kenneth F. King, North Augusta, SC and two nieces, Cherill Appelhof, North Augusta, SC and Phyllis Chestnut, Monroe, GA. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Ronald Hasty officiating.
