Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM from Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. C. B. Croskery, pastor. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Mrs. Johnson will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan, Sr. and Johnnie Mae (Williams) Johnson; one aunt, Ellen Childres; one niece, Laura Johnson; two uncles, Rev. David London and Henry Lee Childres. She was a dedicated and devoted mother to her only son, Donald Edward Johnson, Jacksonville, FL; a loving and caring sister to three siblings, Dorothy (Frank) Davis, Montgomery, AL, Dan (Carolyn) Johnson, Jr., Atlanta, GA and David Johnson, Montgomery, AL; one aunt and uncle, Leslie Johnson and Elijah London, both of Detroit, MI; nieces, nephews, cousins, host of friends and one special, devoted friend, Georgia Mae Rhodes.
