Obituary of Annie-Jane Hayes


WILSON, ANNIE JANE The death of Annie Jane (Hayes) Wilson, wife of Donald R. Wilson of Tay Creek occurred May 29, at the Curtis Special Care Home in Douglas. Born on April 17, 1912, Annie was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen (Guitard) Hayes. Mrs. Wilson is also survived by her daughter, Muriel (Greg) Forsythe, and her two special granddaughters, Dawn Ellen and Sheri Rae, all of Fredericton; her sister, Helen (Garnet) MacKinnon resides in Tay Creek. four nieces and five nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers William, Walter, James, John, Wilfred and Joseph and her sisters Olive, Josephine, Laura and Marjorie. A member of St. James Anglican Church, Tay Creek, Annie was a housewife who enjoyed quilting, knitting, and cards. She especially cherished time spent with her family and friends. Following her cremation, Annie's family will receive family and friends at Bishop's Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 31, from 2-4 and 7-9. The Service of Remembrance will be conducted by Rev. Ranall Ingalls, at St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Forest Hill Road, Fredericton, on Thursday, June 2 at 2 pm. Her ashes will be interred in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery.
