Annie Henderson, 60, of Chipley formerly of Graceville passed away Nov. 23, 2009 following an extended illness. She was born on January 29, 1949 in Plant City to the late Luther and Imojean Mullis Sloan. She worked as a correctional officer with FDOC for a number of years and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Her granddaughter Angela Renea Cato preceded her in death. Survivors include her children Jessica Diann Sorey and husband Ashley, Kimberly Broxton and husband Derrick all of Graceville, son Zachery Henderson of Chipley; two brothers Frank Sloan and wife Glenda of Enterprise, Ala., Bobby Head of Plant City; two sisters Barbara Shipes of Graceville, Dolly Cochran of Plant City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Nov. 28 at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. John Broome, John Howell and Reba Sorey officiating. Burial followed in Beulah Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
