Correctional Technician WINTER HAVEN -- Ms. Annie Marie Harris of Winter Haven died of respiratory failure Wednesday (Jan. 22, 2003) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 53. Born Sept. 7, 1949, in Bartow, she came here from Bartow 12 years ago. She was a retired correctional technician in probation and parole. She was a member of Burkett Chapel P.B. Church, Bartow. Ms. Harris is survived by her sons, Juan Harris, Winter Haven, Freddie Solomon and James Daniels, both of Bartow, Jeremiah Daniels, Atlanta; father, Nathaniel Denson, Lakeland; step-mother, Joann Denson, Lakeland; brothers, L. M. Smith Jr., Bartow, Autry Denson, Fort Lauderdale, Jerome Denson, Brooksville; sisters, Ella Mae Patterson, Lakeland, Vernon Hill, Gainesville, Janice Thomas, Lakeland, Alvis Kennedy, Winter Haven, Diana McCray, Gainesville, Barbara Ann Anthony, Joyce Williams, Vivianne Vanador, and Jackie Holloway, all of Lakeland; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Williams Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Burkett Chapel P.B. Church, Bartow.
