Obituary of Annie-Ellen Jones

JONES, Annie Ellen April 13th, 1917 May 2nd, 2005 Passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital on May 2nd, 2005, with her granddaughters Lisa & Lindsay by her side. Annie is lovingly remembered by her son, Douglas and dearly loved daughter-in-law, Joan. Annie was a very strong force in our lives and a devoted Nana to Lindsay (Grant) and Lisa (Shane) and a caring and loving greatgrandmother (Gee Gee) to Alexis, Kyle, Josh and Taylor. She also leaves her niece Della (Stan) Stewart. Annie loved Christmas and Easter and made them a joyous time for her family she will be dearly missed. She is predeceased by her sisters; Bessie (Baldwin), Gladys (Brinkman) and Doris (Evans), her niece Donna and her special nephew, Verne. Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. J.P. White who mom considered more than her doctor but also a friend. In tears we saw you sinking we watched you fade away. You suffered much in silence you fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage your spirit did not bend. But still you kept on fighting until the very end. God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be. So when we saw you sleeping so peaceful and free from pain We could not wish you back to suffer that again. We love you always. There will be no service at mom's request no muss, no fuss, she said! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. 81909
