JOHNSON, Annie Edith - At Tufford Nursing Home on Monday, December 5, 2005 in her 101st year. “It has been a long and wonderful journey and I love you all, but I am tired.“ Beloved mother of Robert and his wife Lois. Predeceased by her loving husband John Bernard (1998) and daughter Myrna Duffield (1992). Proud grandmother of Donna, Richard (Shelley), Sandi, Glenn, Alison, Melissa, Rachel, also great- grandmother of Jennifer, Jessica, Meghan, Colin, Lily, Leah and “Special“ grandmother of John Tityk; much loved by her nephew Ron Vogan and daughter-in-law Daphne Johnson. Predeceased by her sisters Marjory Vogan (Ottawa), Lillian Clare (Vanleek Hill), Edith was a very active member of Knox Presbyterian Church. A 100th birthday party was held for Edith on October 15, 2005. and she enjoyed every minute of it with family and friends. At her request cremation has taken place. There will be a private graveside service. Memorial donations to Tender Wishes or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
