Obituary of Annie-Doris McLaren


Memorial Services for Annie Doris McLaren age 71 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 24th from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 2057 North Parkway in Jackson TN with Jonathan Barz officiating. Mrs. McLaren died Sunday evening at Jackson Madison County General Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Mercer TN on August 6 1932 the daughter of the late Bedford Carol and Alma Elder Emerson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. She is survived by two daughters Carolyn Drugmand Nesbit MS and Dorris Harkins Bartlett TN; two sisters Dean Phillips Nipomo CA and Maryland "Abby" Hardee Jackson TN; by five brothers W.C. Emerson Savannah TN Ellis R. Emerson Nipomo CA Rt. Sgt. Alfred J. Emerson Oklahoma City OK and Virgil W. Emerson Jackson TN; and by her former husband Monroe Pierce Memphis TN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mrs. McLaren the widow of Sir. Richard John McLaren was preceded in death by a sister Katherine O'Shell and by a brother Luther Robert Emerson. Memorials may be directed to the building fund of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 2057 North Parkway Jackson TN George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel 731-427-5555
