Obituary of Annie-Bell Carter


Annie Bell Carter, 82, of Wausau, died Sept. 24, in the Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley. She was born on April 5, 1926 in Washington County to George and Eva (Mayo) Walsingham. She was of the Holiness Faith and a member of the Wausau Assembly of God Church. Two brothers, J.G. Walsingham and Edward Walsingham; three sisters, Orene Carroll, Ellefair Hess and Mimmie Mae Walsingham precede her in death. She is survived by a son Roy Lee Carter, of Wausau; daughter: Wanda Ann Joyner, of Wausau; one sister: Gladys Johns, Sunny Hills; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services were held Sept. 27at the Wausau Assembly of God with the Revs. T. A. Greene, James Vickery and Danny Burns officiating. Interment followed in the Wausau Memorial Gardens with Brown Funeral Home directing.
