SOUTHINGTON - Annette Lizotte Michaud, 81, of Wheeler Village Drive, Southington, formerly of Williams Road, Wallingford, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthy Michaud, whom she took care of during his battle with cancer. Annette was born Oct. 27, 1927 in Grand Isle, Maine, the youngest of 12 children, daughter of the late Pierre Lizotte and Amanda Chabre Lizotte Gervais, and her stepfather, Levite Gervais. She will be forever cherished by her loving children, Marie Annette Perry (Roger Perry) of Milldale, Rose Marie DeCoster Cole (Mark Cole) of West Haven, Donat Michaud and Edmond Michaud of Meriden, Alan Michaud (Karen Boughton) of Wallingford, and Patrick Michaud of Branford; 15 grandchildren, Christopher and Amanda Perry, Brian, David and Melinda DeCoster, Don, Jason, Shaun, Amanda, Edmond Jr., Matthew, Stephanie, Jessica, Patrick Jr. and Thomas Michaud; and six great-grandchildren, Misti, Kayleen, Madeline, Cory, Samantha and Jonathan Michaud. They will all miss their Memere. Annette will also be missed by her loving companion of many years, Philip Heim and family; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who all loved her. She was predeceased by three daughters, Ann Marie Michaud, Pierrette Michaud and Tammy Michaud; and one son, Herbert Michaud. Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St., Yalesville section of Wallingford, Friday, March 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from The Yalesville Funeral Home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Fatima Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Center Street Cemetery at a later date. www.yalesvillefh.com.
