SMITH _ Anne Swanson (nee Henry) On Friday, March 4, 2005, Anne Smith of Leduc passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years. Anne was the eldest of four daughters born to James and Bessie Henry of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Percy (Chick) Smith in 1993 and her sister Besse (Millie) Dennis in 1995. Anne was born in Winnipeg and moved to Calgary in 1940 where she worked for the Hudson Bay Company for many years. Anne enjoyed her garden and through the years her three Bull Terrier companions, Sonny, Danny and Teddy. She resided in Calgary until 1999 when she moved to Salem Manor in Leduc to be near her sister Evelyn. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Evelyn Dundas (Stan) and Margaret Christensen (Pedar) of Kelowna and many nieces and nephews.
