SCHMIDT, Anne Venora (nee Pozzi) May 30, 1949 - April 17, 2011 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Anne, at the age of 61 years. Her memory lives on in her children, Calvin (Tihana) Schmidt, Janelle (Chad) Brown, Vannessa (Derek) Brown, Clarisa Schmidt, Tom (Sandra) Sacco; grandchildren, Danica, Mya, Karlie, Junalee, Caia, Harrison, Joel and Evan; sisters, Kerry (Roy) Shafer and Trisha (Lawrence) Kapalka; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Veno and Eileen Pozzi. We would like to send our heartfelt thanks for the support from her many friends, the care and compassion from Dr. Dusang and the staff at Capital Care Norwood. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park. A Celebration of Anne's life will take place on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the same location.
