Obituary of Anne-R. Johnson


Anne R. Johnson (nee Muhlbaier) of Audubon, formerly of Gloucester City on February 26, 2013, surrounded by her beloved family. She was 97 and the last of her 13 siblings to pass. Legacy A strong, hardworking woman; Anne was devoted to her family. The consummate care giver, she was the one who took care of everyone, she was always there. Anne served as a registered nurse with Cooper Hospital as well as in private settings for 38 years. In addition to that she was a devoted homemaker who made great vegetable soup, fried tomatoes and the best mashed potatoes in the world! She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and often gifted her crafts of blankets and hand towels to family and friends. It was her grandchildren, though, who were the apple of her eye. Family Devoted companion of the late Frank MacFerren; beloved mother of Robert Johnson (Lynn), June Spohn (Tyler) and the late Mary Anne Wildermuth and Margaret Louise Johnson; loving grandmother 10, great grandmother of 13 and great great grandmother of 1. Farewell Service Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Sunday 7-9 PM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. (Sewell) and Monday 10 AM in the Church of Saint Andrew the Apostle, 27 Kresson Rd., Gibbsboro, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
