PARKER _ Anne Jane Anne Jane Parker passed away in peace on May 25, 2008 in Calgary, at the age of 85 years. Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband Wyman, her parents Hugh and Jane Wilson, and her brothers John and Jim. Anne is the dearly loved mother of Janet Holland, John Wyman (Beverly) Parker and Marie Parker. She is also survived by five loving grandchildren and six exuberant great-grandchildren. Anne was born in Winnipeg and had a wonderful childhood there, with frequent trips to Chicago to visit relatives. Anne and Wyman were married in 1943 and moved to Lethbridge shortly after and then to Edmonton and Winnipeg. In 1953, the family moved west of Carmangay to take over the family farm. Anne spent most of her time raising the children and supporting the farming operations. Anne was a member of the Stavely Rebekah Lodge. Anne moved to Calgary in 1996 and enjoyed a peaceful life close to her son and daughter; Anne was a devout Catholic and lovingly instilled her religious values in her children. The Parker family wishes to thank the Peter Lougheed Centre for their care and support. Funeral Services will be held at Christ The King Catholic Church, Claresholm, Alberta, Friday, May 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Interment to follow at the Carmangay Cemetery.
