MILLINOCKET - Anne Marie "Memere" Michaud, 92, died April 20, 2009, at Lady Lake, Fla. She was born June 1, 1916, in Claire, New Brunswick, the daughter of Hormidas and Alvine (Marquis) Boulay. She was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church, Millinocket. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, memere and aunt to all. She is survived by two daughters, Marlene McAdam of East Millinocket and Bernette and her husband, Joe Whitney, of Millinocket; one son, Jim and his wife, Kim Michaud, of Michigan; nine grandchildren, Shorey, Lon, Stacy, Cory, Darcy, Scott, Mark, Shawn and Tara; 15 great-grandchildren, Brad, Aaron, Shelisha, Ian, Isabelle, Priscilla, Jacob, Andrew, Ryan, Riley, Devin, Dane, Mia, Alex, Colby; three sisters, Gean St. Peter, Florence Berube and Nancy Harris; two sisters-in-law, Annette and Alice Boulay; many loved and cherished nieces and nephews that were dear to her heart, as well as cousins and her many friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Raoul; two children, Carl and Carlene; a granddaughter, Heather; a son-in-law, David McAdam; special friend, Hector Long; and several siblings, Lawrence and Lucien Boulay, Odell Ouellette, Lucille Charette and Lucienne Roy. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at St. Peters Catholic Church, East Millinocket, with Father Joel Cyr, celebrant. Interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Katahdin Area Support Group, 10 Field St., Millinocket, ME 04462. Arrangements are by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
