The death of Anne Margaret Morris of Miramichi, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the age of 62. Born in Newcastle, NB, Anne was the daughter of the late Clayton and Kathleen (Hay) Morris. Anne was retired from the Miramichi Hospital after 25 years and was a very active member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Anne is survived by three sisters: Kay St. Louis of Miramichi, NB, Mona Lange (Ken) of Cassilis, NB and Doreen Leimer (Brian) of West Palm Beach, FL; one brother Artie (Pauline) of Miramichi, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Anne is predeceased by one sister Helen Langan and three brothers: Pat, Billy and Harold. At the request of the Family there was no visitation at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 10 AM. from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church with Father Tom Fowler officiating assisted by Father Vincent Donovan and Father Dan Melanson. Organist Mary Butler was assisted by the church choir; Soloist Susan Butler assisted by Pianist Barb Somers sang "Remember Me". Readers were Susan Butler and Shelly Williams; Prayers of the Faithful were read by Shelly Williams. Residence of the Seniors Complex were Anne resided attended in a group. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring. In Anne's memory a donation may be made to St. Mary's Restoration Fund or a memorial of ones choice.
