Anne-J. Lee, daughter of Edward and Helen-Sweeney, died on July 29, 2003.
Anne J. Leeof St. Joseph, Pa.Ann J. Lee, 65 of St. Joseph, Pa., died Tuesday morning, July 29, 2003 at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Helen Sweeney Lee. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Paul F. McCarthy, Endicott; two nieces, Molly McCarthy, Endicott, Kathleen and Kevin McCarthy, Westchester, Pa.; several cousins including, Joan Lee and Rita Coughlin. Anne was a member of St. Joseph's Church, St. Joseph, Pa. and a member of St. Joseph/St. Augustine Altar Rosary Society. She was a retired 32 year employee of the IBM Corporation in Owego, member of the Susquehanna County Ladies Democratic Club and a Democratic Committee person for Choconut Township. Anne graduated from Vestal High School in 1956. Every summer she entered her one-owner '66 Corvette in many car shows and received many trophies. The family wishes to thank her many care givers, Thelma, Kristin, BB and Barbara. Also thanks to Dr. Kahan and all the office staff and nurses, Barbara, Nancy, Theresa, Chris, Melissa and Debbie and Infusion Dept., Dale Hope, Sue and Kathy. We will never forget our special St. Joseph Neighbors, especially Fr. Ghezzi and Shirley Kelly.Funeral Services will be held at the J.A.McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, St. Joseph, Pa. where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Friendsville, Pa. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 tp 9 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Anne may be made to St. Joseph's Church, RR 1 Box 1402, Friendsville, Pa. 18818.
