Obituary of Anne Hammond


HAMMOND Anne. Born in Bolton, England, February 6, 1918. Gone to be reunited with her husband Rod, June 18, 2002. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Rusty (Joanna); daughters, Kathie (John) Enns, Sandy (Charlie) Weir, Vicki (Bob) Munnand Donna (Bill) Smith; grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, Nina, Roddie, Kim, Alyssa, Nanette, Tyson, Kiel, Jason and Jeffrey and many other family and friends. Anne came to Canada at age 14 years. Met her husband during WWII. Volunteered for the Canadian Mental Health Assoc. and the Victoria Track and Field Assoc. Participated in the B.C. Summer Games, representing the Victoria Lawn Bowling Assoc. The family thanks Dr. Wass and the Cancer Clinic, Dr. Grimwood and Dr. Bater, Hospice and Alpha. Private family service. If wishing, donations may be made to the Victoria Hospice Society.
