Anne Flanagan, 96, of Jupiter, died Friday, Aug. 19 at her home. Born in Jersey City, N.J., she had been a Jupiter resident for 30 years, coming from New York City, N.Y. Prior to retirement, she worked at Pan AM and American Brands. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, the Woman's Club of Jupiter and was an avid bridge, tennis and golf player. Survivors include her husband John J. Flanagan of Jupiter; one daughter, Marianne Flanagan of New York City; one son, Michael J.Flanagan and wife, Sharon, of Elkridge, Md.; two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 22, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 204 N. U.S. 1, Tequesta. Friends are invited to meet with the family from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 21 at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter.
