Brennan, Anne E.Sep. 15, 1924 - Apr. 13, 2012Anne E. Brennan, 87, of Venice, Fl., formerly of Narragansett, RI, recently passed away on April 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Brennan; a son Barry M. Brennan; her parents William and Anna Gearin; a brother William; and sisters Margaret, Angela, Mary and Eileen. She is survived by her sons William H. Brennan, Jr. of Venice, Fl. and Robert M. Brennan of East Greenwich, RI, and daughter Anne Marie Bowen of Nokomis, Fl. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Anne was a wonderful wife, loving mother and caring friend. Anne made many friends over the years and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Our family would like to thank our friends and the community for their support. Particularly the dedicated professionals who cared for her, Bella Vita Assisted Living, Venice Regional Medical Center and especially Tidewell Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 25, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., Epiphany Cathedral Church. She will be interred with her late husband William at the Sarasota National Veterans Cemetery in Sarasota, Fl.
