LUCAS Anne B. Gorograntz Lucas age 97 of Monroe, the widow of Michael S. Lucas, passed away on Tuesday July 21, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Lucas, a homemaker was born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania to the late Louis and Elizabeth Olchvary Gorograntz and had been a Monroe resident for over fifty years, and was a former volunteer for the American Red Cross. Anne was a loving and caring woman who was a devout catholic and was always praying for those in need. She loved to cook, oil paint and garden, but most of all loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her beloved daughters Patricia Sanderson of Trumbull and Eileen Auten and her husband James of Stratford, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will take place on Friday July 24th at 9:45 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. Calling hours on Friday from 8:45-9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to Fr.
