ALBANY Anna Theresa Chmielewski Miller, age 89, entered into eternal life suddenly November 11, 2004 while visiting her daughter in Brasher Falls, N.Y. Born in Albany, she was for many years an active member of St. Casimir's Church and school, as well as a lifetime member of the Polish Community Center Auxiliary. Always active and outgoing, Anna maintained her status as a high-average bowler in three leagues, including a ladies' classic league which traveled nationally. Among her many achievements in life, she volunteered her services in church, school and community venues. She was especially fond of working with the Blessed Sacrament Youth Group, with whom she enjoyed many fun-filled adventures. Anna was a longtime Democratic Party member who worked the polling stations in recent years. An avid reader and lover of nature, she will be sorely missed by her family. Daughter of the late John J. and Mary Ligoska Chmielewski. Wife of the late Frank Miller; loving mother of Frank Miller of Voorheesville, Christine Miller of Albany, Barbara Males of Brasher Falls and Anna Dugan of Albany; sister of Sophie Chmielewski of Albany and the late John Chmielewski, Mary Krasher and Sister Annette, C.R. Also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 8 Dudley Heights, Albany (opposite the Philip Livingston School on Northern Blvd.) Monday morning at 8:15 and 9 o'clock at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may also call at the funeral home Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. Interment, Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
