Funeral services for Anna Palmer Carter 82 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 19 2005 at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Carter died Thursday March 10 2005 at Jackson General Hospital. Visitation will begin Friday morning at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. On Saturday the remains of Mrs. Carter will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until time of service.
