Anna Maria Howard-GarciaOf BinghamtonAnna Marie Howard-Garcia, 103, of Binghamton went to sleep in the Lord Monday, May 12, 2003, at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Caroline Rojas Howard and George Howard; and her husband of 50 years, Domingo Garcia. She is survived by three daughters, Mercedes Indelfonso, Mo., Carmen Alvarez, New York City, Gloria Molina, Binghamton; one son, Ralph Garcia, New York City; a granddaughter whom she raised as her daughter, Evelyn Hernandez; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many more family and friends. Anna will be remembered as a wonderful soul, full of love, a very strong person with lots of love. Many blessings to her daughter Gloria for being a great caretaker.Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Chenango St., with Rev. Greg Marion officiating. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
