Harris, Anna Mae EVANSVILLE, Ind. Anna Mae Harris (nee: Loehrlein), 81, of Evansville, formerly of Averill Park, N.Y., passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center with her children at her side. Anna Mae was born on June 29, 1926 in Spencer County, Ind. to the late Edward J. and Beatrice (Koenig) Loehrlein. She married Edward C. Harris on July 26, 1952 at the age of 26 and moved to Averill Park. Anna Mae was a longtime communicant at St. Henry's Catholic Parish and taught many religious education classes and was a Eucharistic minister. She was involved in many aspects of parish life including being the part-time church secretary. Survived by daughter, Anne M. Harris of Melbourne, Australia; son, Mark E. Harris of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Melvina Wath-en of Rockport, Ind., Sister Marcy Loehrlein of San Antonio, Texas, Cyrilla Eickhoff of Evansville; four brothers, Father Sy Loehrlein of Jasper, Ind., Father Richard Loehrlein of Malawi, Africa, Norbert Loehrlein of Evansville; grandson, Stephen Harris of Rensselaer, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Harris in 2001; a son, Michael H. Harris; and a brother, Earl Loehrlein.
