Anna Mae Graham SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Anna Mae Graham, 79, of 260 Dogan Court, Spartanburg, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at her home. A daughter of the late Horace Eugene Burton and Lois Brown Burton and the wife of the late Guy Graham, she was a 1950 graduate of Simpsonville Colored School and ranked valedictorian of her class. She was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church and retired from the Kemet Corporation, later joining the staff of Golden Rule Child Development Center. She is survived by four sisters, Betty Jo (Robert) Jones of Spartanburg, Samella B. (Azeal) Jackson of Detroit, MI, Peggie Lois B. Robinson of San Bernardino, CA and Carolyn B. Anderson of Greenville. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Reedy Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. T. E. Simmons and Rev. Waddy Talley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home and at the home of a niece and nephew, Alice and Maxie Burton, 121 North Wingate Drive, Greenville. Beasley Funeral Home, Fountain Inn is in charge of arrangements.
