Anna Laura Powell, 82, of Harriman, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, in The Bridge at Rockwood. She was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Agnes Abel.Survivors include her husband, Henry T. Powell, Harriman; and daughter, Rebecca Cochran, Rockwood.The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 22, in Childs Memorial Baptist Church, Harriman. Funeral service will follow, with the Rev. James Griffith officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 23, at Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood. Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, is in charge of arrangements.
