Obituary of Anna-L. Carter

Anna L. Carter, 80, of St. Augustine, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014. Mrs. Carter was born on May 21, 1933, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Elbridge and Stella (Hackworth) Fairchild. She loved to cook, she lover her grand kids and great-grand kids. She was a good woman, never saying a bad word against another, nor action toward another. Anna was strong in her faith and strong in her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Al Carter and son, Russell Carter.She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Carter (Cliff Schramm), Carla Lang (Cory), and Carol Dubose; 11 grandkids and 18 great-grandkids.Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, 6 p.m. at Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center in San Mateo, Fla., followed with a celebration of Anna's life at 7 p.m. Memories and condolences may be shared with her family online at www.wattsfuneralhomes.com.
