ANNA E. MEYER KOUTS/ FORMERLY OF VALPARAISO, IN Anna E. Meyer, age 96, of Kouts, formerly of Valparaiso, IN passed way Monday, February 9, 2009. She was born February 18, 1912 in Kersey, IN to Amos and Daisy (Brown) McDaniel. She was a member of the Southlake Church of the Nazarene. On September 1, 1931 in Valparaiso she married Clarence Meyer, who preceded her in death in 1981. Survivors include one daughter, Betty (Roy) Phipps of Kouts; two granddaughters: Sarah (Bruce) Taylor and Lisa (Samuel) Aparicio both of Kansas; and one great-granddaughter, Anna Mae Taylor. In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by three brothers: Rex, Russell, and Harry McDaniel; and one sister, Hazel Ketterman. The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, the Rev. Mark Hostetler officiating with burial at Graceland Cemetery.
