HomemakerWINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Anna G. Davis of Winter Haven died of heart disease Wednesday (March 24, 2004) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 88.Born in Swords Creek, Va., on Sept. 7, 1915, she came to Winter Haven from West Virginia, seven years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters, Colin Gibson, Winter Haven, Judy Reed, Cloverdale, Va., Joan Thomas, Blue Ridge, Va.; sister, Ruth Elkins, Swords Creek, Va.; 11 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren.Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Simpson/Tharp Funeral Home Chapel, Roanoke, Va. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Glade Creek Cemetery, Blue Ridge, Va. Steele's Family Funeral Services, Winter Haven.
