COOPER Anna "Garnet" Cooper, 94, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, October 16, 2008. Born in Powellsville, NC to William and Margaret Mitchell, Garnet was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill Cooper, she is survived by her son, C. Thomas Stitt (Nancy); grandchildren, Charles T. Stitt, Jr. (Linda) and Patti Monroe (David); great grandchildren, Kristin Hecht, Christopher Stitt and Lauren Stitt. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2007 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday (today) at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of NE FL.
