Anna Bride Owens Camden Anna Bride Owens, 84, passed away Monday, November 23, 2009, at the Lutheran Home, where she had been a resident since January 2007. She was born July 30, 1925, in Vienna, NY, a daughter of Frederick and Anna Bartholoma Price, and attended McConnells- ville and Camden Schools. On December 28, 1946, she married Elvid R. Owens in Rome, NY; he passed away January 6, 1980. Anna resided in Rome, then Sylvan Beach, where she had lived for 30 years before moving to Camden in 1998. She previously worked at Rome Cable and Goldbergs and was a former member of Rome V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She attended the Welsh Presbyterian Church, Rome, and most recently McConnellsville Community Church. Anna is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra L. and Douglas Reader, Rome, and Jackie L. and Richard Roberts, Blossvale, and two sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin R. and Carol Owens, Schuyler, NY, and Bruce C. and Edna Owens, Taberg. She leaves seven grandchildren, Katie and Ryan Roberts; Edward Owens and Susan Maleski; and Mark, Brian and Tracy Owens; as well as five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Jones, Vienna, and Katherine and Jason Campbell, McConnellsville; and several nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by a sister, Ida Gaines, and two brothers, Victor and John Price, as well as a special friend, Earl Mason. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment, McConnellsville Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the family to be used for a donation to The Lutheran Home in Annas name. Anna Owens
