BEAUDIN _ Anna Cecile September 21, 1912 - January 17, 2009 Mrs. Anna C. Beaudin of Calgary passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Midnapore Beverly Centre at the age of 96 years. Anna was born in Gleichen, AB on September 21, 1912 and lived in Ouelletteville until she married Gerard Beaudin in 1935. They eventually moved to the Cluny area where they farmed until their retirement to Calgary in 1968. During this time she was a member of the C.W.L. where she held the position of president for two terms, was president of the Cluny Altar Society for two years, and served on the Cluny history book committee. Her favourite pastimes were curling, knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, dancing, and playing cards. She will be lovingly remembered by her five daughters and their families, Jeannine Carroll of Lakewood, N.J., Doreen and Neil Belcher and Leona and Roy Schaal of Calgary, Linda and Dale Gooch of Arrowwood, Anita Beaudin and Ron Walmsley of Strathmore; ten grandchildren, Anne (Jim), Jay, Dave (Andrea), Brad (Susan), Brenda (DJ), Leonard, Derek (Lisa), Greg (Shelley), Jason and Cory; ten great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband Gerard in 1995; her three sisters, Lucy, MarieAnn and Blanche; her brother, Luke; her infant grandson Garry; and great-grandson Sam. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church (2424 - 24 Avenue N.W.) on Friday, January 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Family Interment at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
