WOOD _ Ann Maud was born in Campbell River on June 18, 1926 and passed away peacefully at Laurel Lodge, Courtenay, on July 10, 2003. As the third child of Edward and June Painter, Ann had happy memories of her days growing up on the Tyee Spit in Campbell River. Ann married Norm Wood (previous Campbell River councillor) in 1946. She felt that her children and grandchildren were the most important part of her life. Ann will be remembered fondly by her family and friends. Ann's family received the gift of seeing her happy during her final months of life, thanks to the great care she received at Laurel Lodge.
