Ann T. Van Buskirk, 88, Palm Harbor and formerly of North Port, died at home Nov. 1, 2006. She was born April 27, 1918, in Queens, N.Y., and came to North Port in 1982. She worked for the Brooklyn Union Gas Co. for 10 years and was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Robert P. of Palm Harbor; a daughter, Donna A. Love of Moultonborough, N.H.; a brother, Joseph Giacalone of Naples; and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, handled arrangements.
