Hodgkins, Ill. Ann Strickland Miller passed away May 31, 2011. She was born October 29, 1914, to T.S. and Cora Allen Strickland. She grew up in the Diamond Hill Community of Madison County, and spent several years in Athens before meeting and marrying her husband, Wally Miller. After marriage, they lived in Dearborn, Mich. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Crane, of Hodgkins, Ill.; a son, Michael Miller, of Greenville, S.C.; granddaughter, Lisa Nuss, of Chicago, Ill., and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Moon's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Tom Dial officiating. Bridges Funeral Service, Athens, has charge of arrangements.
