Ann C. Hammonds Malone, 70, of St. Augustine, died March 25, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Malone was a native of Kalamazoo, Mich., and had resided in Florida since 1955 and in St. Augustine since 1971. Mrs. Malone was retired from the St. Johns County School Board and the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.Preceded in death by husbands; John G. Malone, Harold L. Hammonds and Robert M. Hopkins.She is survived by a daughter, April Hudson, Daytona; a son, David Hopkins (wife Phelinda); two stepsons, Kevin (wife Pam) Malone, Londonderry, N.H., Brian (wife Carol) Malone, Marstons Mills, Mass.; seven grandchildren, Sandy, Daytona and Erika Hudson, St. Augustine, Stephanie (David) Phelps, St. Augustine, Stephen Drackett, Palmetto, Fla., Christopher and Jason Malone, Londonderry; and four great-grandchildren.Private services will be held at a later date.
