ANN KATHLEEN DRAPAC PETERSON (NEE GADDIS) WHITING, IN Ann Kathleen Drapac Peterson (nee Gaddis) of Whiting, died Friday, November 18, 2011 one day after celebrating her 91st birthday. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Peterson; her children's father, John Drapac; her sons: John (Regina) and Donald; and her son-in-law, Albert Terpstra. Ann is survived by her children: Charlene Terpstra, Loretta "Lorie" Mikosz, Judy, Gerard (Debbie), Thomas (Jean), Louis (Kathy), Ruthann, Joseph (Diane) and Gregory (Afsaneh) Drapac; and her step-children: Verna (Julie), Wayne, Cynthia and Rhonda Peterson. Ann is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; her sister, Ruth Nelson; and several nieces and nephews. Ann loved her family, her faith, learning, and adventure. She lived a full life. Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 9:30 AM from Owens-Ruzich Funeral Home, 816-119th St. (corner of (Rt. 41) Calumet Ave. at 119th St.) Whiting to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM with Rev. John Kalicky, C.PP.S., Pastor, officiating. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
