Obituary of Ann Gray


Ann Gray of Sparkill died on March 9, 2006. Born on May 26, 1918 to Ada Bruner and George W. Gray, she lived in Sparkill for most of her life. After graduating from Wellesley College in 1940, she worked in publishing and advertising for many years in New York City. She is survived by her sister Frances Gray Pellegrini, a nephew, Roger Pellegrini and a niece, Nina Bocour Pellegrini. An active member and past president of the Nyack Garden Club of Nyack, she worked tirelessly for nature and ecology. She was buried in Palisades Cemetery on March 11, 2006. A Memorial Service will be held at the Palisades Presbyterian Church on April 22nd at which time a garden will be dedicated in her honor.
