Obituary of Ann-Elizabeth Finn

WESTFORD - Ann Elizabeth (Small) Finn, 76, died Saturday, Nov. 6, at her home in Westford. She was the wife of Joseph A. Finn, whom she married Aug. 7, 1948 in Our Lady of the Valley Church in Sheffield, Mass. She and her twin, Cecelia Kay of Great Barrington, were born Sept. 22, 1928, daughters of the late Herbert and Cecelia (Ford) Small. They were the first babies born at Fairview Hospital. Mrs. Finn graduated from Sheffield High School with the class of 1946. Besides her husband, Mrs. Finn is survived by two sons, Michael J. Finn of South Bend, Ind., and Joseph G. Finn of Quincy; a daughter, Ann Finn Detlefs of Westford; 16 grandchildren, Bridget, Patrick, Daniel, Kathleen, John, Elizabeth, Rebecca, James, Conall, Michael, Kevin, Ty, Keandra, Jimar, Brian and John; her twin and another sister, Mary Ustico of Canaan, Conn.; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of U.S. Army Air Force Lt. Herbert W. Small, whose plane was shot down in France on April 27, 1944.
