Obituary of Ann Brown


Brown, Ann, 87, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from her home in Deerfield Beach, FL. Ann was born in Clio, AL, was a telephone operator, aircraft (Rosie) the riveter. Ann held numerous other titles including wife and mother of six children, advocate for the mentally ill, advocate for the blind, and church choir member. Ann is preceded in death by her precious parents, Fredrick and Elsie Edge; husband John S. Brown; siblings, Cmdr. Cary 0. Edge (Geraldine), Jewitt Edge (Thelma), Floyd Edge, Mamie Lou Loudermilk (James) Millard Edge (Louise) and Vanayra. Ann is survived by her sister-in-law Helen Edge; dear friend Florence Messer; her six loving children, John Brown (Joyce), Michael Brown (Patricia), Elizabeth Brown, George Brown, Mary Arnoni (Carmen) and Patrick Brown (Nergiin) and grandchildren, Jacqui, David, Natalie, Heather, Sean, and Austin, many great-grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, 80 South Federal Highway, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441, 954-427-2225, Monday, January 11, 2010, 9:30 AM.
