ANN BALLARD VALPARAISO, IN Ann Ballard, age 43, of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012. Ann was a graduate of Portage High School in 1986, and her grandchildren were her world. Ann is survived by her parents: James and Frances Lewis of Valparaiso; grandmother, Mary Lewis of Illinois; four children: Amber (Tommy Lynch) Gilmer of Portage, JJ (Lindsey Nowling) Gilmer of Portage, Christian Ballard of West Lafayette, IN and Dylan Ballard of Valparaiso; three brothers: Richard (Terri Burns) of Hobart, Rodney and Andrew Lewis, both of Valparaiso; three loving grandchildren: Abriella Kirincic, Justin Gilmer and Addisyn Lynch; two ex husbands: Robert Gilmer of Portage and Terry Ballard of West Lafayette, IN; and numerous extended family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. from the KRAFT FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 370 N. County Line Road, Hobart, with cremation to follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family. 219-942-9866
