Ann Adkins LYMAN, SC-- Ann Marie Cox Adkins, 57, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Mark W. Adkins and the daughter of the late Walter H. and Mary W. Cox of the Reidville Community. She was a 1971 graduate of James F. Byrnes High School and formerly employed by Advance America. She enjoyed working with crafts. She was a lifetime member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Moore. She is survived by a brother, Jerry W. Cox and wife Judy of Moore; a niece, Melanie Holland and husband Ray of Duncan; two nephews, Wayne Cox and wife Lisa of Woodruff and Brent Cox and wife Samantha of Lyman; a mother-in-law, Billie Adkins of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Lynda Hearon and Cheryl Sheppard of Florida; a brother-in-law, Kevin Adkins of Florida; three great-nieces, Gwynne Holland, Katie Holland, and Rachael Cox; two great-nephews, Christopher Cox and Aiden Cox. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Gerald Burnett, Dr. Kenneth Harmon, and Rev. Robert Bevill. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bullman, Ray Holland, Johnny Cox, Sonny Justice, Edward Brown, and Terry Horton. Honorary escort will be the Ruth Fellowship Sunday School Class. Visitation will be held 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The family will be at the home of Jerry W.
