<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Mason, Mrs. Anita C. (Dixon), a resident of Montgomery, AL departed this life, surrounded by family, on January 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held January 25, 2014 at 12:00 Noon from Matthews Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Cecil, AL. Interment will follow in Adams Cemetery, Hope Hull, AL. Mrs. Mason will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Anita leaves to cherish to her memories a loving and devoted husband of 27 years, Mr. Joseph Curtis (JC) Mason; son, Curtis Jerrel Mason of Montgomery, AL.; stepson, Beondi L. Mason, of NY; granddaughter, Alana Mason of Rhode Island NY; her adopted mother, Mrs. Lucille Dixon; one brother, Dontrail Dixon of Montgomery, AL,; one sister, Deborah Walker of Chicago, IL.; father and mother-n-law, Charles L. and Julia M. Mason of Montgomery, AL.; sisters-in-law, Romana Winkler, of Richmond, VA., Jean (John) Wampfler, of Penn, PA; brothers-in-law, Charles (Linda) Mason, of Port Richey, FL, Perry (Sandra) Mason, of Flushing, NY and Wayne Mason of Tyrone, GA; Uncles, Leroy (Elaine) Dixon, Camden, AL. Jim (Pearlie Mae) Dixon, Freeport, NY, Miles (Sadie) Dixon, Montgomery, AL.; one aunt, Ida Mae (Milton) Wheat of Montgomery, AL; a host of loving aunts and uncles; a special thanks to Kandace Purnell and a host of dear nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of lifelong friends.
